WHAT IS BLUE MIND?
Blue Mind is a term created by marine biologist Dr. Wallace J. Nichols to describe the mildly meditative state associated with water and nature.
Research has shown that being near water can:

🌊 improve emotional wellbeing
🌊 support mindfulness and presence

Around the world, people have begun participating in 100 Days of Blue — a movement encouraging people to intentionally spend time near water each day and observe how it impacts their wellbeing, nervous system, creativity, relationships, and overall quality of life.
The concept is simple:
the more consistently we connect with water and nature, the more regulated, grounded, creative, and connected we often become.
I’ve witnessed this firsthand not only in my own life, but through facilitating thousands of ocean healing and therapy experiences over the years.
Water has the power to soften us.
To regulate us.
To reconnect us.
To help us hear ourselves again.
And in a world that constantly pulls us away from ourselves, I believe intentional moments with nature are more important than ever.

For years, water has been one of my greatest teachers, healers, and mirrors.

I’ve watched people reconnect to joy.
